Explore a style before you call

Picking a direction helps the conversation. Look through three common looks for gates and fences, then call to talk about what suits your property.

Clean, straight lines with tight alignment. Modern gates and fences suit contemporary homes, and they pair well with stone, stucco and wood.

Craftsmanship

Metalwork built to fit the property, not a catalog

Good ironwork starts with measurements, posts, grade and how the piece will be used. We fabricate in steel, aluminum and stainless, weld at your property when that is the practical route, and build in the workshop when the piece calls for it.

Finishes matter as much as the frame. Primer, paint and powder coat choices are discussed up front so the work holds up in Texas sun, heat and storms.

Straight answers about how we work. For anything specific to your project, call and we will talk it through.

Questions before you call
What areas does Alpha Iron Work serve?

We are based in Dallas and arrange ironwork, welding and fabrication projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Irving, Garland and the surrounding cities. Call to confirm your location and talk through the project.

How do I get a quote?

Call (214) 214-7849 and tell us about the work, where the property is, approximate dimensions, preferred materials and when you would like it done. Photos and measurements are useful to have nearby during the call. We will explain what the job involves and what the next steps are.

What is the difference between installation, repair and custom fabrication?

Installation means supplying and fitting new ironwork such as a gate or fence. Repair restores something that already exists, such as a sagging gate, broken weld or damaged picket. Custom fabrication means building a one-off piece from your drawings, a sample or an idea, such as a frame, bracket, base or furniture piece.

Is it wrought iron or steel?

Many products customers call wrought iron are fabricated from mild steel today, because it is widely available and welds well. Traditional wrought iron is a different, hand-forged material. We use the term the way customers commonly do, and we are happy to explain the actual material and finish for your project when you call.

Can you repair gates and fences someone else installed?

Often, yes. Common repairs include hinges, latches, posts, alignment, cracked welds and damaged sections. Describing the problem and sending photos to talk through on the phone helps determine whether a repair or a replacement section makes more sense.

Are you insured?

Yes, Alpha Iron Work is insured, and our team brings over 10 years of experience to residential and commercial projects.

Ready to talk through your project?

Call to discuss the work, the location, approximate dimensions, materials and scheduling. We will tell you what the job involves and what to expect next.
